Our commitment
Kits Drop wants every customer to be able to browse, choose and buy kits easily, including people who use assistive technology. We work to keep the store usable and to improve accessibility as we develop it.
What we aim for
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical standard. In building the store we work toward:
- text and background colours with sufficient contrast to be read comfortably;
- descriptive text for meaningful images so screen readers can convey them;
- a layout that can be navigated by keyboard as well as by mouse or touch;
- clear headings, labels and link text that make sense out of context;
- a responsive design that works on phones, tablets and desktops.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time task. As we add kits and features we review them for accessibility and fix issues we find. We know some areas can still be improved, and your feedback helps us prioritise.
Tell us if something is hard to use
If you have trouble using any part of the store, or you need information in a different format, email us at support@kitsdropforyou.store and describe the problem and the page it is on. We will do our best to help you complete what you were trying to do and to fix the underlying issue. You can also write to us at Kits Drop, 172 Belfort Pl, Summerville, SC 29486.
